A port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Indian Navy frigate Kaveri (1943) alongside a quay in Bombay Dockyard. She is on the far side of the quay, her pendant number is incorrectly painted up as F10 (instead of F110), she has been disarmed and she has awnings rigged. Berthed outboard of her and only partly visible is the training frigate Tir (1942). The bow of the light cruiser Delhi (1932) is on the right and she has awnings rigged. The photographer is in a motor launch in the harbour.
