On board the Royal Navy chartered minesweeper St David (1973) during a team sweeping exercise with her sister Venturer (1972) in Loch Fyne, Scotland. The photographer is looking aft and to starboard from the port side of the sweep deck showing the large stern gantry and the 'A' frame. A kite is stowed to starboard of the stern gate below one of the blocks through which the sweep wire is rove. Two dan buoys are fixed to the superstructure on the left. A vertical format negative.
