On board the Royal Navy chartered minesweeper St David (1973) during a team sweeping exercise with her sister Venturer (1972) in Loch Fyne, Scotland. The photographer is looking aft and to port from the starboard side of the sweep deck showing the minesweeping winch in the right foreground. The Venturer (1972) has come within about 20 yards to pass a sweep wire and her kite can be seen secured to the starboard side of her transom ready for deployment.
