A close view of the starboard bow of the Royal Navy chartered minesweeper Venturer (1972) during a team sweeping exercise with her sister St David (1973) in Loch Fyne, Scotland. The photographer is on board the St David (1973) and the Venturer (1972) has come within about 20 yards to take in a sweep measuring unit which is being passed across from the St David by light line. Men are on the foredeck of the Venturer (1972) hauling in the line. Her pendant number is M08.
