On board the Royal Navy coastal minesweeper Upton (1956) while under way in Gibraltar Bay in early 1980 during exercise Test Gate. The photographer is looking forward from the port side of the bridge showing the Union Flag at the jackstaff, even though the ship is under way and following another Ton class minesweeper. A number of cargo ships and an aircraft carrier are in the background.
