The Spanish Navy patrol boat Lanzon (1944), also known as V 18, is alongside the boat and the stern of the cargo ship Cru Mediterraneo (1910) is in the background. The Argonaftis (1944) was being towed from Malta to the Tyne in December 1958 when she broke adrift and stranded on the North Spanish coast. The hulk was refloated and towed into Pasajes 6 January 1959. She was broken up there during April 1961.
