On board the United States Navy aircraft carrier Wasp (1943) while under way in the North Atlantic. The photographer is on the port side of the island superstructure looking aft and to port showing two Grumman S2-E Tracker aircraft coded 30 and 32 parked with wings folded abaft the island. They belong to the Carrier Antisubmarine Warfare Air Group 52. Abaft them are two Douglas EA-1F Skyraider aircraft of VAW 33 Squadron. Following astern of the carrier is a U.S. Navy destroyer.
