The photographer is on the centre line of the flight deck just forward of the island superstructure looking forward and to starboard showing three Grumman S2-E Tracker aircraft and two Douglas EA-1F Skyraider aircraft parked with wings folded in the forward deck park. The Trackers are units of the Carrier Antisubmarine Warfare Air Group 52 and the Skyraiders are from VAW 33 Squadron. The nearest Skyraider is serial 135185, coded 871.
