Ships of the Western Fleet of the Royal Navy during exercise Seaforth in the North Sea
A distant view of frigates of the Royal Navy's Western Fleet during exercise Seaforth in the North Sea. The two nearest ships are the Leander class frigates Galatea (1963) and the Cleopatra (1964). The Galatea has the broad black topped funnel of a Squadron leader and her pendant number is F18. The pendant number of the Cleopatra is F28. The identity of the photographer's ship is not known but it may be one of the frigates Danae (1965) or Juno (1965).
