A port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Royal Navy frigate Galatea (1963) under way during the Western Fleet exercise Seaforth in the North Sea. The ship is the leader of the 20th Frigate Squadron, her pendant number is F18 and a large number of her crew are gathered on deck fore and aft. The identity of the photographer's ship is not known but it may be one of the frigates Danae (1965) or Juno (1965).
