A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from abaft the beam, of the Royal Navy aircraft carrier Hermes (1953) under way in the English Channel off Berry Head. Her pendant number is R12 and she has two Westland Wessex helicopters on the forward end of her flight deck. The photographer is on board the Royal Fleet Auxiliary tanker Olna (1965) looking to port and forward from the port side of the bridge.
