A slightly distant port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the New Zealand frigate Otago (1958) during a patrol in Malaysian waters. Her pendant number is F111, she is temporarily attached to the 24th Escort Squadron and has a single 40 mm Mk 3 Bofors gun mounted on deck abaft her motor boat. The photographer is on board the Royal Navy frigate Brighton (1959) on the starboard side of the upper deck looking aft as she makes a turn to port.
