A close port side view of the New Zealand frigate Otago (1958) under way in Malaysian waters
A close port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the after part of the New Zealand frigate Otago (1958) during a patrol in Malaysian waters. Her pendant number is F111, she is temporarily attached to the 24th Escort Squadron and has a single 40 mm Mk 3 Bofors gun mounted on deck abaft her motor boat. Everything forward of her funnel is out of the picture. The photographer is on board the Royal Navy frigate Brighton (1959) on the starboard side of the upper deck looking aft and to starboard.
