Two buildings at the forward operating base of a detachment of 845 Naval Air Commando Squadron at Nanga Gaat in the jungle of Sarawak, which operated from 19 August 1963 to 23 June 1965 during the Indonesian and Malaysian Confrontation. The building on the left is a corrugated iron structure high off the ground on stilts and the sides are decoratively painted with Malay designs. The wooden building on the right is also on stilts and is under a tiled roof. The area under the building is enclosed with barbed wire. A wooden walkway is between the buildings.
