The helicopter landing area at the forward operating base of a detachment of 845 Naval Air Commando Squadron at Nanga Gaat in the jungle of Sarawak, which operated from 19 August 1963 to 23 June 1965 during the Indonesian and Malaysian Confrontation. The Westland Wessex HAS.1 helicopters XS 152 coded S/B and XS 116 coded N/B are on the ground and a large number of oil drums are near them.
