The southern shore of the harbour at Aalesund, Norway

The southern shore of the Aspoya district at the east end of Aalesund, Norway. A few small vessels are berthed alongside the quays with storehouses beyond them. To the left of centre is Aalesund Church. The German Hamburg-South America passenger liner Monte Rosa (1930) is berthed on the Storneskaia on the extreme right with Aksla Hill beyond her.
