The waterfront at Ajaccio, Corsica, looking north-west. An unidentified brigantine is at anchor in the harbour and a concrete jetty projects into the harbour on the left. A number of small boats are moored stern-on to both sides of this jetty. Wooded hill slopes and a mountain are beyond the built up coastal strip.
