Four and five storey buildings front the upper roadway including the Royal Hotel, the Hotel Oasis, the Brasserie Universelle, Tabacs and the Credit Lyonnais. The premises of Vidal, Manegat & Cie and Charles Schiaffino & Co are on the waterfront.
