In the centre of the picture on the promenade is the monument to Flavio Gioia on its original pedestal with the Hotel Ditalia beyond it and above it isa religious building with a crucifix at the top of the tower. On the left on the waterfront is a building with Molino & Pastificio Moderno G. Bergamasco fu Francesco and higher up the cliffside is the Hotel Cappuccini.
