A distant starboard side view of two passenger ships in an anchorage off the island of Antigua in the Leeward Islands, possibly off St John's. The vessel to the left of centre is a Cunard A class ship on a cruise and is one of Ausonia (1921), Andania (1922), Antonia (1922), Aurania (1924), Alaunia (1925) or Ascania (1925). The other vessel is a Canadian National Steamships vessel on a liner service from Canada to the West Indies and is one of Lady Drake (1928), Lady Hawkins (1928), Lady Nelson (1928) or Lady Rodney (1929). A three masted schooner is also at anchor. In the foreground a woman is sitting on the beach under an umbrella and four men are standing on a short jetty.
