No 4 [Lower Gallery] Deck, location GH-4: Looking aft down the central corridor towards bulkhead 63. The bulkhead door leads through to the Arircraft Lift Well. To the immediate left is the door to the medical Main Office, with the door to the Dispensary beyond it on the same side. To the immediate right are the double doors leading to the Sick Bay Main Ward, and beyond them the doors to the outer bathroom and Surgical Dressing Room respectively.

This is part of a series of photographs taken during the final stages of HMS Ark Royal's last major refit which was completed in 1970. The location references are derived from the deck plans in the latest edition of the ship's NBCD book.
