On board the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) while under way passing Gibraltar. The photographer is on the starboard side of the poop looking forward and to starboard showing passengers standing at the ship's rail looking towards Gibraltar. The motor lifeboat number 19 is in her davits on the left of the picture. Gibraltar is seen from the east and the water catchment area in the centre of the eastern slopes is prominent.
