A port side view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) at anchor in an unknown location.
A port side view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) at anchor in an unknown location. Both anchors are deployed and an accommodation ladder is rigged to the main deck aft. Lifeboat number 18 has been launched and is possibly the boat alongside the foot of the ladder. Wind scoops are fitted to a number of portholes, suggesting a warm weather location. The Blue Peter flag is flying from the foremast.
