A slightly distant port bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) anchored and moored in San Marco Basin at Venice, Italy. The photographer is in a boat off the port bow. The ship has her port anchor deployed and her starboard anchor chain has been disconnected from its anchor and is led round bollards on deck to a position off the starboard bow. Two of her shell doors are open and the Blue Peter flag is flying from the port yardarm on the foremast. The Riva Schiavoni is in the background.
