On board the Orient Line passenger cruise ship Orion (1935) while approaching the Riso Narrows in a fjord off Sognefjord, Norway. The photographer is looking forward from near the centreline of the bridge showing the foremast, the starboard cargo derricks and the cargo booms. Some of the crew are by the forecastle rails. A small island with a few buildings on it is ahead of the ship. This negative is captioned Riso Narrows and was made during a cruise up the Sognefjord and inland fjords but the precise location of the Riso Narrows has not been traced.
