The battlecruisers 'Australia' and 'New Zealand', one with booms extended to receive visitors, possibly at Scapa Flow
The two nearest vessels in the centre are the battlecruisers 'Australia' and 'New Zealand' (both 1911) but which is which is not determinable. The nearest ship has a tented arrangement over her port midship turret and possibly over that to starboard as well, though not visible. Since she has both quarter booms deployed and is obviously expecting visitors, the tent arrangement may be for some event on deck rather than a more practical reason The other ships are indistinguishable, though the row on the left are cruisers, and the location is uncertain but It might be Scapa Flow.
