Battlecruisers at anchor in the Firth of Forth
The Battlecruiser Force on the Forth, apparently in an early morning, 1917-18. If that is the case the view is east from off Rosyth. On the left is the stern of the 'Indomitable' or 'Inflexible' ,with the 'Australia' or 'New Zealand' behind and a 'Queen Elizabeth'-class battleship nearest the Forth Bridge. The battlecruiser 'Lion 'or 'Princess Royal' is to the right of centre.
