On board a two funnelled Orient Line passenger cruise ship in Aurlandsfjord, off Sognefjord, Norway. The ship is under way astern and the photographer is looking aft along the port side of the boat deck from abreast the forefunnel showing passengers playing deck quoits. Lifeboats 6, 8, 10 and 12 are in their davits with a smaller boat stowed inside each of the large ones. Two of the ship's boiler room ventilators dominate the left side of the picture. A vertical format negative which is captioned Balholm but Balholm is at least 30 kilometres away.
