HMS 'Inflexible' at the Battle of the Falkland Islands, 8 December 1914, about 13.00 - 13.20
Two similar studies above each other, one at a distance, the other closer to. Each shows the battlecruiser 'Inflexible' with one of the armoured cruisers, 'Kent' or 'Cornwall' astern. The time is between 13.00, when 'Inflexible' opened fire, and 13.20 when the cruisers broke away to chase the German light cruisers. 'Inflexible' still carried a foretopmast at this stage of the war, which Wyllie here omits, suggesting he was using a later image as a reference source.
