Schooners in the Careenage at Bridgetown, Barbados.
Two schooners alongside The Wharf Road on the north side of the Careenage at Bridgetown, Barbados. The outboard schooner, seen from off her port quarter, is the 2-masted Comrade (1893) registered at Bridgetown and the inboard vessel, seen from off her starboard bow, is the 3 masted Florence M. Douglas (1927). Beyond these two ships is the premises of S.P. Musson Son & Co Ltd. A number of small boats and two other schooners are in port. The photographer is looking west from the south side of the Careenage.
