The Aquatic Club on the shore of Carlisle Bay, Bridgetown, Barbados. The photographer is close to the shore to the north of the club looking seaward showing the main building on the left with the pierhead pavilion beyond it. An Admiral's steam barge is alongside the pavilion and two Royal Navy battleships are at anchor beyond the pavilion. Also at anchor in Carlisle Bay are the Royal Navy sloop Dundee (1932) and the passenger cruise ship Franconia (1923).
