The Inner Basin, Chamberlain Bridge and the Public Building at Bridgetown, Barbados. The photographer is looking north-north-west from the south side of the Inner Basin showing cargo lighters in the foreground and the Chamberlain Bridge on the left. Two of the lighters are named Carlisle 108 and Warspite 112. The stern of a schooner with an awning rigged over her main boom is on the right. A two masted schooner is berthed in the east end of the Careenage beyond the bridge. The clock in the tower of the Public Building is reading 11.19.
