Looking north-east along the Careenage, Bridgetown, Barbados, from a boat in midstream in the entrance to the harbour. A number of 2 masted schooners are berthed alongside The Wharf Road on the north side of the Careenage. Two of the schooners are berthed abreast near the building of S.P. Musson Son & Co Ltd and beyond them is the Public Building in Broad Street. On the right is the south side of the Careenage and Blackwoods Screw Dock with the premises of Central Foundry Ltd next to the dock.
