Part of the inner port area of Bergen, Norway. A small passenger/cargo steamer is alongside a quay on the right and ahead of her are a small steamer with a motor launch named Hørda outboard. On the quayside are various commercial buildings and legible names include Havnekontor, Bybudstation and Kaffestue. To the left of centre is a building with B.D.S. on it and a clock reading 3.10 above a dormer window. Next to this building are premises with Elektriske Faerge on it and a boat davit on the quayside in front of it. A Langaard motor van is parked on the quayside. The domed office building of Det Nordfjelske Dampskibsselskab is in the centre background.
