Looking west along the foreshore in front of the west end of Front Street at Hamilton, Bermuda. The photographer is west of the docks showing a promenade with a flagpole on it on the right. Commercial or industrial buildings with tall brick chimneys and a structure holding four storage tanks are in the background. In the far left background the curved roof on the Princess Hotel at the junction of Front Street and Pitts Bay Road can be seen. The roof has three dormer windows in it and a viewing terrace protected by decorative railings on top. A number of yachts, dinghies and motor boats are in the water.
