Three single masted coastal sailing barges off Bombay, India.

Three single masted coastal sailing barges at sea off the coast near Bombay, India. Each vessel has a long curved bow and a settee sail. The craft on the left has a good-sized deck cargo and is being sculled with long oars as well as having its sail set. The centre vessel is smaller, is relying on its sail only for propulsion, has a deck cargo and the man at the tiller is sitting under an umbrella. The boat on the right has her sail set but is also being sculled with at least four long oars. She has a massive deck cargo of hay or a similar grass which considerably overhangs the hull.
