Looking north from the south side of the Galata Bridge at Istanbul, Turkey. The photographer is on the west side of the bridge. A number of small vessels of various types are moored at or near the wharves on the north shore and a passenger ferry with the number 8 on the bow is under way heading east. The Galata Kulesi (Galata Tower) is on the skyline. Some of the buildings have names or advertisements on them including Antalya, Nakliyati U.S., Galata Subesi, Ahen ve Munih, Agfa Photo, Nordstern, Tiktak, Galata Bonmarsesi, Inhisar Likorled and Holantse Bank-Uni.
