Sketch survey of Christmas Island
Card of sketch survey of Christmas Island 1950s, engraving by Roy Cooney. Cooney was trained at the UK Hydrographic Office as an engraver. After he stopped working as a chart engraver, he continued to engrave as an artist, which included producing cartographically themed objects such as this Christmas card showing Christmas Island.
