Part of the harbour on the north coast of Capri, Italy. The photographer is looking east-south-east from near the breakwater in the harbour showing rowing boats drawn up on the foreshore and lifted onto the promenade. Fishing nets are hung up to dry on the guardrail of the promenade. Two, 3 and 4 storey properties, mainly residential, line the waterfront and are on the slopes of Monte San Michele.
