Part of the harbour on the north coast of Capri, Italy.

Part of the harbour on the north coast of Capri, Italy. The photographer is looking south-west from a boat in the harbour showing rowing boats and a motor launch drawn up on the foreshore. 3, 4 and 5 storey properties line the waterfront and include a shop advertising Tabacchi and Espresso, one advertising Agfa, the Bar Grotta Azzurra, the Alberco Maresca Ristorante and the Belle Vue & Trois Rois. To the left of centre is the arched entrance to the funicular railway which was completed in 1907 and connects the harbour with the Piazza Umberto I in the centre of the island.
