The photographer is looking east along the coast showing a promenade area set up on piles at the back of the foreshore. On the promenade is a row of beach huts and the Bagni Vincenzo Ristorante. A flight of steps leads down to the rock-strewn bathing area and a number of paddle boards are at the water's edge. A few people are in the water and two rowing boats, a paddle board and an inflatable are being used.
