The harbour at Kavalla, Greece, taken from the north shore looking east. The harbour is packed with caiques, lighters and rowing boats, some of the latter being drawn up on the shore. The Akropoli Kavala is on the hilltop east of the harbour. This town is variously spelt Kavalla, Kavala and Cavala.
