The canal on the north-west side of the island of Slotsholmen at Copenhagen, Denmark, looking east-by-north. Fishing boats are berthed along the canal and fish boxes are stacked on the walkway. Motor cars are on the Nybro Gade and fishing nets are drying on the guardrails and hanging from the mast of a boat. Two of the boats are registered K1049 and K187. The buildings include Osters Krog's Fiske Restaurant, Kamma and Meva. The tower and spire of Sankt Nikolay Kirke (St. Nicholas Church) is in the background and the north-east canal side buildings are on the right.
