The south-east side of Santa Anna Bay in Willemstad harbour, Curacao. The photographer is on board a passenger cruise ship passing through the Queen Emma pontoon swing bridge which is open. The end of the bridge is in the right foreground. The buildings facing the harbour include the premises of the Club De Gezelligheid, the Horn Linie offices, G. Troost, Casa Cohen, Baratillo Stores, Radio Grammen, C.F. Muskus & Co., the Palais Royal and the Cafe Suiza. Four 2-masted schooners are alongside the quay and the entrance to the Waaigat is in the left background with the premises of the Curacao Trading Company beyond it.
