Buildings in the Otrabanda district of Willemstad, Curacao, fronting Santa Anna Bay. The photographer is looking north-by-east from the Queen Emma pontoon swing bridge crossing Santa Anna Bay showing residential properties on the west shore of the bay, north of the bridge. A number of Dutch flags are in evidence and a merchant ship in the right background is dressed overall. The festivities may be in celebration of the wedding of Princess Juliana of the Netherlands to Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld on 7 January 1937.
