The Queen Emma pontoon swing bridge and the Otrabanda district of Willemstad, Curacao. The photographer is on board a passenger cruise ship in Santa Anna Bay passing through the open bridge and he is looking north. The pontoon bridge is swung back towards the Otrabanda side of the bay and two merchant ships are berthed on the Koninklijke Nederlandsche Stoomboot Maatschappij Compania Real Hollandsch De Vapores wharf in the right background. On the left is the Hotel Americano and two oil tanks are on the skyline.
