The market place on the Motlawa River, Danzig. A wooden built motor cargo lighter named Stoer (fl. 1930) is alongside the quay in front of the Gasthaus Stadt London. The building on the left has scaffolding erected along its frontage and a brick-built circular Swan Tower with a cone-shaped tiled roof is in the centre. The photographer is looking north-west.
