The building in the centre has scaffolding erected along its frontage and the brick-built circular Swan Tower with a cone-shaped tiled roof is on the right. The premises of Carl Voigt and A.C. Stenzel face the river and the rectangular tower of St. John's Church is on the left. The photographer is looking west-south-west.
