The Motlawa River, Danzig. The photographer is looking north from the Green Bridge along the river showing two steam passenger launches alongside the west quay. The premises on the west bank facing the river include "Weichsel" A.G. Fahrscheine, Mariacka's Gate, which is the large building with the dome topped tower, and the Zuraw wooden port crane. Steel lighters and a 2-masted Baltic schooner are alongside the granaries on Granary Island in the right foreground. A general cargo coaster is alongside the granaries on the east bank of the Motlawa.
