The promenade and beach at Deauville, France
Looking north-east along the wooden promenade and the sandy beach at Deauville, France. Striped changing tents line the top of the beach. In the background are the two arms of the entrance to the harbour of Tourville-sur-Mer, each with a lighthouse on the end. In the distance beyond the harbour arms the long steamer jetty can just be made out.
